19th May – Buskers Cat

We really enjoyed Buskers Cat the first time they played at the club ….. so they’re back again for a headline spot!

Come & enjoy a kinda country folk band, playing all original music.

Also joining us, new band World Gone Wrong –

'“Strange things are happening like never before” proclaims the song by The Mississippi Sheiks, a highly popular and influential group from the 1930’s who produced a large body of sophisticated work perfectly made for these modern times. Our band plays pre-war blues taking inspiration from musicians like these who simultaneously provoked reflection and provided entertainment.'

Karen & Bill look forward to welcoming you to Quarter Jack Folk at

Wimborne’s Allendale Centre    5 -11 pm

This will be an evening of outstanding music from local performers, everything from medieval tunes & lively celtic songs, to slide guitar & gypsy jazz.

Featuring – Antoine & Owena, Garry Smith, Sheboshka, Damian Clarke, Bob Carter, Simply Symonds, & Warwick Slade Collective.

 15 min floor spots are available to book on the day from 4.30.

Inspired by traditional and contemporary folk music, Antoine & Owena create their own original blend of folk music that provides a feast for the ears, the heart and the feet.  Combining original material with their own take on some traditional songs, this Wiltshire-based duo of multi-instrumentalists delivers an eclectic mix of songs and tunes which enthuse and entertain.
